White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
4 c. shelled pecans
1/2 oz. vanilla extract
1/2 oz. lemon extract
1 small pkg. almond slices
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add well beaten eggs and blend well.
Chop nuts and fruit in medium size pieces.
Mix with some flour.
Sift remaining flour and baking powder together and fold into the butter and egg mixture.
Add flavorings; mix well. Add fruit and nuts; mix well.
Pour into greased, paper lined tube pan.
Place in cold oven and bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Cool in pan on rack.
