Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. oil
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. crushed Special K
1/2 c. coconut
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream softened butter and sugars.
Add egg and oil.
Add oats, Special K and coconut.
Add flour, vanilla and nuts.
Roll in balls (walnut size).
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with fork dipped in water.
Makes 7 to 8 dozen.
