German Sausage-Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. smoked link sausage
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes (may use tomato and green chili)
2 cans kidney beans
2 ribs celery, chopped
2 medium onion, chopped
4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
3 c. water or broth
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
salt and pepper to taste
minced garlic or garlic salt to taste
Preparation

Brown sausage and drain. In large covered soup pot, combine all ingredients. Simmer for about an hour until vegetables are cooked. Delicious served immediately. Even better the next day. Serves 4 to 6.
