Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Add pecans that have been cut into halves.
    Pour all of these ingredients into the pie shell. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for another 30 minutes.
    Pie should be cooled until firm.
