Ingredients

6 medium yams
1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Cook,
peel
and
quarter
yams
(may substitute with 2 cans, 17 ounces each).
Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake
in 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. May
use
dark or light brown sugar and pack 1/2 cup.
Stir constantly.
Bring\tto
boil
and
boil 5 minutes. Pour over yams. Bake, basting often, 15 minutes more.
Serves 6.
