Strawberry Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
ice cream
strawberries

Preparation

Beat the egg whites until frothy.
Add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until very stiff.
Divide mixture into 6 equal portions; shape into nests on heavy paper or cookie sheet.
Bake for about 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
When done, place sheet on damp cloth and lift off nest.
Let cool.
Fill with ice cream and strawberries.
