Mother'S Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. oats
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Gradually add sugars and cream well.
Beat in egg until fluffy.
Add water and vanilla.
