Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    approximately 6 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 c. rolled oats in 2 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. yeast in 1/3 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Cook oats and add other ingredients.
    Raise and put in pans as usual.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in oven 4-inches from bottom for 50 minutes. Add raisins, dried fruits or herbs, if wanted.
