Georgia'S Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomato juice
    4 sweet peppers
    4 onions
    1 stick butter
    5 tsp. salt
    10 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Heat juice and mix in cornstarch, salt and sugar.
    Cook chopped onions and pepper in butter 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pour into juice.
    Bring to a boil and can.
    A little hot pepper may be added if desired.
