Grits And Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick grits
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
    1-1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    crushed red pepper, optional
Preparation
    Cook grits - set aside.
    Brown sausage, onion, and bell pepper.
    Drain well.
    Combine grits with meat mixture and 1 cup cheese.
    Spoon into a greased casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Top with remaining cheese.
    Bake 5 minutes longer.
