White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1/4 lb. white chocolate
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
4 egg whites
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Melt chocolate in the boiling water. Set aside to cool.
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift together flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture with buttermilk. Do not overmix at this point. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in batter. Stir in pecans and coconut.
Pour in 3 greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
