Frosty Strawberry Squares(Mrs. Martin) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. strawberries or use 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed (reduce sugar to 1/2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Stir together first 4 ingredients and spread evenly in shallow baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Let cool. Sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice at high speed until very stiff peaks form.
    Fold in the heavy cream (whipped).
    Pour over crumbs in pan.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/3 crumbs over top. Freeze overnight. Cut into squares.
    Garnish with dash of whipped cream and a whole strawberry.
