Christmas Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 c. cornflakes
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugars and then eggs and vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
    Last, add cornflakes, oatmeal, coconut and nuts.
    Roll into small balls and place about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
