Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. finely ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix together lightly ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Gently form into small balls (1 1/2-inches).
Brown in hot fat.
Add about 1/4 cup hot water. Cover.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Serve hot with slightly thickened pan gravy.
Makes 6 servings.
