Maple Pecan Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. pure maple syrup
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour, corn meal, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Add syrup and buttermilk.
    Stir in dry ingredients just until moistened.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into a greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread tests done.
    Cool for 10 minutes in pan.
