Pea Soup(Reduced Fat) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. dry split peas
2 qt. water
4 slices raw bacon
1 onion, chopped
3 bay leaves
1/2 c. chopped carrots
1/4 c. chopped celery
pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat all ingredients until boiling; then simmer until peas are done (about 2 to 3 hours).
