Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
5 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Sift and measure flour.
Add salt.
Cut in shortening until the size of peas.
Beat egg with water and vinegar.
Add to dry ingredients and mix.
Makes enough for 2 (2 crust) pies or 4 (1 crust) pies.
