Pecan Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 egg yolk, unbeaten
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg white, unbeaten
Preparation
    Sift flour; add salt and sift again.
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar and egg yolk.
    Cream.
    Add milk and vanilla, then add all dry ingredients and mix well.
    Roll to 1/8-inch thick; brush with egg white and sprinkle with pecans.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0.
    When done, cut in squares.
