Round Steaks Smothered In Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. round steak
    1 large onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from steak and cut into serving size pieces. Season steak with salt and pepper.
    Dredge in flour and lightly pound floured steak with a mallet or edge of saucer.
    Brown steak in hot oil in skillet.
    Add onion and enough water, just to cover the steak and onions.
