Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. canned tomatoes
    4 slices dry bread
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 stick butter
Preparation
    Toast the bread and butter it.
    Dice bread into 1/2-inch pieces and combine with tomatoes.
    Add sugar and spices.
    Pour into greased casserole dish and top with rest of butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned, 30 to 40 minutes.
    Good with white beans and rice.
