Ingredients

2 c. drained, sliced beets (save beet juice)
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. beet juice
Preparation

Melt margarine in a saucepan; add flour.
Stir.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar and beet juice gradually.
Cook until clear, stirring constantly.
Add sliced beets and heat thoroughly. Serves 4 to 6.
