Melt Away Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    colored sugar
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, flour and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Blend well.
    Spread in ungreased jelly roll pan 15 x 10-inch.
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Spread over mix. Sprinkle with colored sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
    Cool and cut into squares or bars.
