Ingredients

2 c. berries
2 c. sugar, separated
1/3 c. softened margarine
2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. milk
2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream 1 cup sugar and margarine together.
Add flour and milk. Mix with mixer.
Spoon mixture gently into 12 x 10-inch greased baking dish.
Add berries on top of crust mixture.
Sprinkle remaining cup of sugar over berries.
Add the boiling water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until well browned.
