Cheese Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. New York State strong cheese
1 stick butter or margarine
1 3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. or dash of red pepper (1/4 tsp. if doubled)
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Grate cheese.
Let butter soften to room temperature.
Hand mix cheese and butter until smooth.
Mix dry ingredients together, then pour into cheese and butter mixture.
Mix with hands until well blended.
Press onto cookie sheet (ungreased).
Bake about 15 minutes or until set at 350\u00b0.
Makes 7 to 8 dozen.
