Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
few shakes nutmeg
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add water gradually, stirring constantly.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from fire and add butter, lemon juice and nutmeg.
This is great over bread pudding.
