Sort beans and soak overnight in water
Turn a 3-quart slow cooker on high.
Place cumin
Place a beef in a 5 quart slow cooker. Coat a 12 inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Saute over medium high heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place half of beans in a slow cooker. Place remaining beans in a blender. Add 1/2 cup of broth to blender and puree. Add mixture to slow cooker. Add remaining broth, tomatoes, oregano, dried thyme, salt and pepper to slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high setting of slow cooker for 6 to 7 hours. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.

Soak lima beans in 2 quarts of water in a large bowl for 8 hours or overnight. The next day, drain the lima beans and place into a slow cooker with onions, ham bone, and ham. Pour in 3 cups of water or as needed to cover. Place lid on the cooker, set to High, and cook for 3 hours.
Stir in Cajun seasoning, black pepper, garlic salt, and cayenne pepper; set cooker to Low and cook until the beans and meat are very tender, about 4 more hours.

Cook and stir chorizo
Place a large skillet over medium heat, and add sausage. Cook, stirring, until sausage is browned, about 5 minutes. Drain fat, and transfer sausage to slow cooker.
Stir the black beans, onion, celery, green pepper, water, tomato sauce, garlic, thyme, bullion granules, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and bay leaves into the sausage in the slow cooker. Cover, and cook on Low until vegetables are tender, about 6 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Put the drained beans into your slow cooker and add the garlic, broth, tomatoes, cumin, and chili powder.
Stir well.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Combine the beans, ham, brown sugar, onion powder, parsley, garlic salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a slow cooker. Pour enough water into the slow cooker to cover the mixture by about 2 inches. Set slow cooker to Low; simmer 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
Rinse the beans and remove all the pebbles.
Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine the beans, kielbasa, broth, tomatoes (and their juices), onion, garlic, rosemary, and 1 cup water.
Cover and cook until the beans are tender, on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours (this will shorten total recipe time).
Just before serving, stir in the spinach.
