Salt Scrub

Combine the oil and salt in a bowl and mix well. Add essential oil and combine well.
To use, apply to dry skin using circular strokes to exfoliate the skin. Sit on the side of the tub to keep the scrub from making a mess. Don't use a salt scrub if you have any cuts in your skin.
Shower off or follow with a warm bath. Make sure you use a non-slip surface as the oil makes the tub slippery.

Orange Salt Scrub

Mix the salt with the oil and soap in a glass bowl, and then add the essential oil.
Transfer to a plastic or glass jar.
Use as a body scrub when having a bath or a shower, rinse off with warm water.

Liquid Hand Soap Recipe

Take your bar of soap (we use Dove or store brand like it, because it's more moisturizing), and grate it with a cheese grater.
Pour the water and grated soap into a microwaveable container and cook on high for 3 min.
Remove and stir until all soap bits have melted (put in a bit longer, if needed).
Let it cool, then pour into pumps (leftover from store bought liquid soap), and the remainder in any container with a lid.

Aromatherapy Salt Glow

Lavender Sea Salt Scrub

Add Almond Oil, starting

Soft As A Baby'S Butt Salt Scrub

Mix the dry ingredients, add the baby oil, it should look like wet sand now.
Decide for yourself if you want the consistency oilier and if you do, add more oil.
Snip the top off the vitamin capsules and add their contents to the scrub, mix and transfer to a plastic jar.
When using in the shower make sure you are on a non-slip surface.

Lemon (Or Lime) Sugar (Or Salt) Scrub

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.
Apply to hands or feet above the tub or sink, so you don't make a mess. Scrub thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
When done scrubbing, rinse briefly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Apply your favorite moisturizer if desired.

Strawberry Salt Scrub

Mix first three ingredients together, then mix in the salt and the baking soda.
If you find it is too thin add some more salt.
Add fragrance if using.
The strawberries will loose their bright red color whilst you are mixing, they go more purple/grey.
Transfer to a container, preferbly plastic.
Use in bath or shower and make sure you are on a non-slip surface.

Pomegranate Jelly(Mcp Cooked Jelly Recipe)

Mom always told me to add a dash of salt to any recipe requiring a quantity of sugar.

Soft Scrub

Put the borax in a container with a lid. Add the liquid soap a bit at a time.
The borax won't dissolve.
Mix (I use a fork to mix.) When the mixture is the consistency of frosting it is ready to use.
Add essential oils if desired.
I am going to try orange next time!
Scrub away!
You can make as much or as little as you like.
Keep covered so it doesn't dry out.

Earth Scrub (A Green "Soft Scrub") All-Purpose Cleaner

Stir liquid soap into baking soda.
Add the water, and stir to be as smooth as possible.
Add the vinegar and stir again.
Pour into a squeeze bottle.
(A clean, empty ketchup or syrup bottle works well.) Shake well before using, and keep tightly closed between uses.

Oriental Jasmine And Rice Bran Body Soap

Shred the bars of soap and set aside.
In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, warm the soy milk and gradually add the shredded soap until mixture is a sticky mass.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the rice bran and jasmine oil.
Stir until the bran is evenly mixed.
Spoon the soap into a mold and let it set for 4 hours or until hardened.
You can double the recipe and use a milk carton for the mold.

Chocolate Body Scrub

Combine sugar, body wash, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a plastic container.
Add olive oil until a paste forms.
Wet area to exfoliate.
Rub with scrub.
Rinse.
keep in a covered plastic container.

Strawberries And Cream Soap

Grate the soap, or chop into tiny pieces

Mix pulverized laundry starch with cold water.
Pour in boiling water and stir quickly.
Cook the mixture over low heat about 3 minutes until the surface becomes glossy.
Remove from heat and add soap flakes and glycerin as a preservative.
Place the mixture in small jars and color with a few drops of different vegetable dyes.

Microwave Soap

Save your broken pieces of bath soap by dropping in a quart jar with lid.
Keep closed.
When full, place soap in bowl in microwave.
Set on Medium power, about 10 minutes.
When soap chips begin to puff up, stir.
Do this several times.
Spray small plastic containers with pan coating.
When soap chips are melted, use a spoon back dipped in water to pat soup firmly down in containers.
Let dry overnight and cut to size if too large.
Let dry a week before use.
