Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce, sliced
    3 to 4 green onions, chopped
    8 or more stalks of celery, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, chopped
    1 bag frozen peas
    1 c. fresh shredded parmesan cheese
    Bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer a deep casserole dish starting with lettuce, then green onions, then celery, then water chestnuts, and finally peas. Spread dressing over top layer. Sprinkle parmesan over dressing. Garnish with bacon bits.
