1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and eggs, then add salt and baking powder. Add alternately flour, milk and vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter at last. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Makes three 9-inch layers.
