Cheese Patties With Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    pecans
Preparation
    Grate cheese and mix with softened butter.
    Add flour and salt; work mixture with hands until it firms up.
    Shape into long roll; wrap in waxed paper.
    Refrigerate.
    Cut as for icebox cookies.
    Put pecan pieces on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
