Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head shredded lettuce
    1 box frozen peas
    4 hard-boiled eggs, cut up
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1/2 head shredded lettuce
    1 pkg. Ranch dressing
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
    shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer first 6 ingredients as listed in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix dressing, mayonnaise and sour cream and spread on top of salad. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Can be made the night before.
