Hummus - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 15oz cans chickpeas
1/4 cup tahini
1 lemon - squeezed
Salt and Pepper
2-3 garlic cloves
1/2 cup EVOO
1/2 tsp Paprika
Preparation

Drain chickpeas through strainer and reserve liquid. Add drained chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, salt and pepper, garlic, and paprika to food processor with double blade attachment. Blend ingredients on high. Pour EVOO into top of food processor while running until blended smooth. Add liquid from chickpeas 1 tablespoon at a time until mixture is smooth and creamy.
Pour mixture onto serving platter and sprinkle paprika on top of mixture.
Serve with pita bread or carrots/ celery.
