Banana-Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t, baking soda
1 t. salt
1/4 t. nutmeg
3/4 t. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. mashed bananas
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt)
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and bananas. Slowly add the dry ingredients. Add the oats and nuts by hand, mixing thoroughly.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden and fragrant.
