Scottish Oat Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Dry Ingredients
    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 1/4 cups quick oats
    1/4 cup sucanat or other sugar
    1 Tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    Wet ingredients
    1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
    1/3 cup milk
    1 egg
    1/2 cup raisins or currants
Preparation
    Stir together dry ingredients until blended in medium bowl. Add wet ingredients, mixing just until dry ingredients are all moistened. Stir in raisins. Turn out onto lightly floured working surface. Form into 8-inch circle. Cut into 8-12 wedges; bake on greased cookie sheet in preheated 425F oven 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm with butter, preserves or honey.
