Grandma Wood'S Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Household yeast (or 3 small cakes)
    1 pint milk, scalded and cooled
    2 T. sugar
    6 C. flour
    4 T. melted butter
    1 t. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm milk.
    Add the butter and half of the flour. Beat until smooth and let rise one hour.

    Add the remaining flour and salt, then knead well, about 10 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl, over, and let rise until doubled.

    Roll out 1/2\" thick, brush with additional melted butter. Cut out with a round cutter and fold in half. Let rise again to double, about one hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
