1/2 cup well shaken buttermilk
1 tblsp red food color
2 tsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp van extract

Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in bowl
Cream butter with mixer and sugar
Add veg oil and eggs
Add buttermilk, food color, vinegar
Beat until just combined and then add dry ingredients
