Homemade Grenadine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups refrigerated pomegranate juice (like Pom)
    1 cup sugar
Preparation
    Boil pomegranate juice in heavy small saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced to 1 cup, about 8 minutes. Add sugar; stir to dissolve. Simmer 2 minutes longer. Pour into small bowl. Cool. Can be made 1 week ahead.
