Linguine With Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10oz. package Linguine
1/4 cup chopped shallots
2 cloves garlic , chopped
1 can(14.5oz) diced Tomatoes
in olive oil garlic& spices
1-2 tbs. Tomatoe paste
2 tbl.extra virgin olive oil
1-4 fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup heavy cream
1-1 1/2 lbs. large shrimp,
cleaned and shelled
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or
pepper flakes
Preparation

Cook pasta according to package.
Meanwhile,in large pan saute shallots and garlic in olive oil for 2 mins. Slowly add tomatoes and tomatoe paste add 1-2 tbs fresh sliced basil leaves and simmer 5 minutes. Then add cream and continue to cook on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes until sauce begins to thicken , add to taste cayenne or pepper flakes at this time add cleaned shrimp continue stiring and cook until shrimp turn pink. Drain pasta, rinse in cool water. Place in serving dish and cover with shrimp and sauce, garnish with remaing julienned basil leaves. Serve with tossed salad and chrisp bread.
