Baked Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Bottom
    2 lbs. of yams cooked and mashed
    1/2 cup of granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup of butter
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp salt
    (optional addition - 1/2 tsp cinnamon & 1/2 tsp nutmeg)
    Top
    1/4 cup of butter
    1/2 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup of all purpose flour
    1 bag of chopped pecans
Preparation
    Bottom
    Blend all of the above and place in a casserole dish

    Top
    Melt butter in a sauce pan, add all other ingredients, cover the top of the yams with mixture and bake for 30 mins at 350 degrees (preheated oven)
