Simple But Sensational Grilled Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients
-
Six grill-cut (thin cut) pork loin chops (they should not be thicker than 1/2 inch)
Montreal Steak Seasoning
1/2 stick butter
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Sides: Baked beans and fried potatoes
Preparation
-
First, if you use a charcoal grill (I use a kettle grill), get enough coals going to provide a wide enough spread to evenly cook six chops. If you're using gas, set your flame to medium high.
It's always a good idea to rinse your chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Lay them out on a plate, tray or cutting board and sprinkle them with the steak seasoning, not too much, but not too little. Turn them over and do the same.
Melt the butter in the microwave or a sauce pan and add the soy sauce. When the coals are ready, baste the chops with the butter-soy sauce mix, put them on the grill, basted side down and immediately baste the up-side. Let them grill for about 3 minutes, turn them over and baste them again. Repeat the process a couple more times, or until you are satisfied that they're fully cooked.
