Horchata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 tablespoons rice
    1 1/4 cups blanched almonds
    1 inch cinnamon stick
    6 inch lime zest
    1 cup granulated sugar
Preparation
    1) Pulverize the rice in the blender. Grind it as smooth as possible.

    2) Conbine the rice with the almonds, cinnamon, and lime zest.

    3) Let the mixture stand overnight.

    4) Place the mixture in the blender jar and blend for at least 3-5 minutes
    until the mixture is smooth.

    5) Add 2 cups of water and blend again just for a few minutes.

    6) sieve the mixture through cheese cloth.

    7) Add 2 additional cups of water and ice.
