Ingredients
-
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup apple juice
4 None large green apples, peeled, quartered, cored
1/2 cup cream
3 tbsp butter
Preparation
-
Combine the brown sugar and juice in 6 quart pressure cooker. Add the apples and turn to coat in the mixture. Secure the lid and bring the cooker to low pressure. Reduce the heat to stabilize the pressure and cook for 6 mins.
Release the pressure and remove the lid. Remove the apples from the cooker and transfer to serving plates.
Add the cream and butter to the cooker and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 mins or until the sauce is thickened slightly. Serve the apples drizzled with sauce.
