Saffron Rice With Almonds And Raisins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp canola oil
    2/3 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
    7 oz long grain rice
    2 pinches saffron
    1/3 cup raisins
Preparation
    Heat oil in a saute pan. Add almonds and toast for 2 mins, stirring. Add rice and stir for 1 min. Add 1 2/3 cups water and a pinch of salt. Add saffron and raisins. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 mins, until water is absorbed.
