Fettuccine With Bacon And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp butter
    5 oz button mushrooms, thinly sliced
    4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 1/4 cups heavy cream
    14 oz fettuccine
    1/3 cup grated Romano cheese
    1/4 cup chopped chives
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet on high heat. Add mushrooms, bacon and garlic. Cook, stirring, 3-4 mins, or until browned.
    Add cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, 5 mins, or until sauce thickens. Season to taste.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain and return to pan. Add sauce, cheese and chives; toss to combine. Serve immediately.
