Couscous Patties With Tahini Mayonnaise Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup couscous
    14 oz can white beans, drained and rinsed
    1 None carrot, grated
    2 None green onions, chopped
    1 None large egg
    1/4 cup breadcrumbs
    2 tbsp tahini
    2-3 drops Tabasco sauce
    2 tbsp oil
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    4 None lettuce leaves
    4 None English muffins, split and toasted
Preparation
    For the patties, prepare couscous according to package instructions. Fluff with a fork. Mash beans until smooth. Add to couscous along with the carrot, green onion, egg, breadcrumbs, half the tahini and the Tabasco. Mix well and form into 4 flattened patties. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 mins on each side.
    For the sauce, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice and remaining tahini. Spread on the English muffins and top with the lettuce and patties to serve.
