Cod Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, finely chopped
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    1 None large potato, peeled, diced
    2 tbsp all-purpose flour
    2 cups milk
    8.75 oz smoked cod, skin removed, chopped
    1 (10 oz) can corn kernels, drained
    1 None green bell pepper, deseeded, chopped
    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped, to serve
Preparation
    Place bacon, celery and onion in a large pan over medium heat. Saute for 2-3 mins, until onion is tender. Add potato and cook for 1 min. Add 2 cups water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 mins.
    Combine flour with a little milk to form a smooth paste then add to pan with remaining milk, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Season to taste. Add cod, corn and pepper. Simmer for 5 mins. Serve topped with parsley.
