Stuffed Meatballs Served With Potatoes And Pepper Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None onions, peeled and diced
    1/2 bunch oregano, finely chopped (some set aside for garnish)
    100 g feta cheese, crumbled
    500 g minced beef
    2 tbsp breadcrumbs
    1 None egg
    2 tsp mustard
    4 tbsp + 1 tsp oil
    800 g small potatoes, halved
    2 None yellow and red bell peppers, seeded and cubed
    1 clove garlic, peeled and finely sliced
    50 g tomato puree
    250 ml vegetable stock
    100 g double cream
Preparation
    Mix the feta cheese with the chopped oregano and roll the mixture into 10 evenly sized balls. Mix the beef with the breadcrumbs, egg, mustard and onions and season to taste. Knead the mixture well and divide it into 10 flat patties. Put a feta ball in the middle of each one and shape them into meatballs. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet, and fry the meatballs for 7-10 mins, turning as necessary. Remove them and put them on an oiled sheet of parchment paper.
    Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large pan and fry the potatoes over a medium heat for 12-15 mins, turning as necessary. Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Put the potatoes on the baking sheet with the meatballs and cook them in the oven for 10 mins.
    Heat 1 tsp of oil in a saucepan, and saute the onions and garlic. Add the peppers and saute them for about 3 mins. Stir in the tomato puree and pour in the cream and stock. Simmer for 5 mins while stirring. Serve the meatballs, potatoes and pepper mixture on a plate, garnished with the remaining oregano.
