Spicy Lamb Meatballs In Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

1 lb ground lamb
1 1/4 cups dry breadcrumbs
1 None onion, peeled and chopped
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 None red chili, finely chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
None None Zest of one lemon
None None For the Sauce and to Serve
2 tbsp olive oil
14-15 oz can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup white wine
1 tbsp chili sauce
None None Couscous, steamed to serve
None None Green beans, to serve
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a large bowl, combine the lamb, breadcrumbs, onion, cilantro, garlic, chili, cumin and zest. Mix well and season to taste, then roll tablespoons of the mixture into balls.
Place the meatballs on the baking sheet and spray with oil. Bake for 12-15 mins, until cooked through.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Heat the oil over a medium heat in a large skillet. Saute the onion and garlic for 2-3 mins, until the onion is tender, then stir in all the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 4-5 mins, until thickened slightly.
Add the meatballs to the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 mins more, stirring gently, to heat through. Serve with couscous and beans.
