Fava Beans With Bacon And Olives - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb frozen fava beans
    1 tbsp oil
    4 oz bacon, cut into pieces
    6 None small shallots, halved
    1 None green onion, cut into rings
    3 tbsp olive oil
    1/4 cup pitted black olives
Preparation
    Blanch the fava beans in boiling water for 2 mins. Drain and rinse under cold water, then squeeze the beans from their skins.
    Heat the oil in a pan, and cook the bacon and shallots for 4 mins, then add the beans and cook for 3 mins. Add the green onion, olive oil, and olives, season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
