Pepper And Apple Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
1 None onion, chopped
2 red peppers, seeded and finely chopped
2 None Granny Smith apples, grated
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
10 None whole cloves
Preparation

Heat oil in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion and cook for 3-5 mins, until soft.
Add peppers, apples, brown sugar, vinegar and cloves. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, until relish thickens and liquid is almost absorbed.
Serve with spicy sausages, grilled meat or cheese.
